The Bay Of Islands is a world renowned tourist destination and the cultural centre of New Zealand. The Bay incorporates Paihia, Opua, Haruru Falls Russell and Kerikeri along with a sprinkling of 144 islands.

The Bay is celebrated for its beauty and climate and lives up to its reputation as a maritime playground. The coastline is rich in aquatic life, with pods of dolphins, orca and whales commonly sighted. Game fishing enuthasitists are well catered for with Kingfish, Tuna and Marlin.

Paihia is the hub of the bay, catering to tourists needs and requirements with bars and restaurants and a wide spectrum of accommodation options.

3 hours drive north of Auckland or 45 minute flight from Auckland to Kerikeri. It is serviced by 5 daily bus trips.
